Care and Wear Disclaimer

Please take care of your beautiful handcrafted pieces. Please note that they are delicate and not made to be worn during sports, in water or in the shower. Treated with love and care, they will last for years. Cleaning of the silver plated jewelry is simple and easy; it can be done with a polishing cloth or a mix of baking soda and water. Our malas are not meant to be cleaned, just loved and worn like your favourite sweater or pair of jeans. Over time our silk tassels become kinky and take on a beautiful "loved" appearance and the knotting may become looser causing some movement between beads. This simply shows how loved your piece is!

Mala Repairs

Please contact us by completing the form above and title the Subject:  Request to restring

When it comes to intentional jewelry we can all understandably become really attached to our personal pieces and it can be quite emotional if your mala ever broke. Over time it is natural for the threads of your mala to loosen and weaken and maybe even break, and we are suggeesting a few options, because we all love options!

Your mala is intimately personal and sacred and when a mala breaks it is a very interesting occurrence and a time to go within and ask yourself some questions so you can recieve clarity and take it from there. When a mala breaks it is considered a "break"through! Your mala has served it's purpose and you no longer resoante with that piece in the same way. Some would say you've burned off karma and have learned the lessons associated with your mantra and the energy you were working with.

So, here are some options!

It's time to celebrate! Make time to honour yourself and your incredible accomplishment. Pause and truly reflect on how momentous this is in your         journey and then give yourself a huge hug and do something that honours this moment!

  1. Put the pieces of your mala on your sacred altar so that you are reminded of your accomplishment.

  2. Reflect on the timing of your mala breaking. Is there a message for you in this? More to learn? Using a journal for this type of reflection is helpful.

  3. Create someting new! Perhaps use some of the beads in a new mala with a brand new mantra that reflects your new energy and intention. Or maybe just a little piece like a bracelet with some of the beads to serve as a gentle reminder of your accomplishment. We will be happy to work with you to create a new custom piece. Costs will be project specific.

  4. Start fresh and begin a new journey with a brand new mala! Trust that this is exactly what was meant to happen and move in this new direction.

Hope this is helpful and serves to guide you. If you have any questions or want to share please get in touch.

Namaste xo
